I recently saw the following ad in a magazine:
I immediately thought that it would be fun to run a similar fantasy league among friends, so I decided to do just that. To enter into my fantasy league you must either know me personally or know someone who does. I have decided to use the same basic set up as the league advertised above:
- Same scoring system
- same team prices
- same way for choosing your team ( 8 teams with budget of $10 million ).
Bonus Points (Offense)
Passing Yards over 300 = 5 points
Rushing Yards over 200 = 5 points
Every Sack Allowed = -1 point
Interceptions = -1 point
Bonus Points (Defense)
Passing Yards under 150 = 5 points
Rushing Yards under 100 = 5 points
Every Sack = 1 point
Every Interception = 1 point
Bonus Points (Team)
Win = 10 points
Loss = -10 points
Tie = 0 points
Shutout = 10 points
Getting Shutout = -10 points
Upset Top 25 Team = 20 points*
Beat Lesser Top 25 Team = 10 points*

The only ways that it will be different are:
- a smaller entry fee - $100 is a bit much for most of us to throw at something like this.
- smaller prizes, I sure hope you could see this coming with the smaller entry fee ;-)
- I am not going to bother with trades or weekly prizes.
- Entry Fee = $10.00 per team
- 3rd Place Prize = $20.00
- 2nd Place Prize = 25% of remaining pot**
- 1st Place Prize = 75% of remaining pot**
Finally, once college football games have started everything is final. Also, you may enter more than one team if you wish for an extra $10.00 per team. Any questions? e-mail me at bobbyw16@columbus.rr.com.
